All Black Lives Matter

While I'm privileged engouh so that my only problems are currently stressing over finals and getting emotional over some tv shows, black people are litteraly fighting for their right to not be killed, just across the borders.

Those of you who haven't been living under a rock for the last few months already know about the Ferguson events, but for the others :
Like so many before him (.. and after), Michael Brown, a 18 years old young black man from Missouri, was murdered by Darren Wilson, a white cop on August 19th. He got shot 6 times while running away from the cop, hands in the air, pleading him not to shoot. And died. For pretty much no reason at all, except, of course, racism.

And although the murder itself was a disgusting act that rightly enraged everyone, it was the total bullshit from the police that really made the riots started. Instead of suspending/arresting the murderer, they send him away (fully paid btw) without releasing his name (we only learnt that much later) and tried to cover shit up, making facts up. Like Michael Brown was shoplifting (while the owner of the shop himself claimed he wasn't), like he was dangereous and threathening (when various witnesses said he wasn't), like he was seriously threatening Wilson's live when he got killed (although Wilson doesn't have much injuries).. Oh and the fatal wound was on the top of his head, aka while he was down and surrending. And the list goes on and on about how the state spread misinformations to shut its people, instead of ackowledging Wilson's guilt.

So protests ensued. Of course, to fight the peaceful protesters, Ferguson's police department unleashed hell and actually used tanks and army gears. On it's own population. At multiple times. So many people got shot (rubber bullets), beat up, tear gassed, arrested. They tried to stop people (and actual reporters) from filming the protests , devaluated the witnesses claims, etc. And yesterday, the Grand Jury (made of 9 whites and 3 blacks, while they need 9/12 votes to pass a decision, what a coincidence..) in charge of deciding whether Wilson will have a trial or not, chose that indeed, he won't. And the "no indictment" decision happens, like, never.
